The name of this tea comes from the colour of its stem, which can be seen in the picture and stands out from the rest of the tea trees in Lincang (Yunnan). However it belongs to a rarity, therefore the tea pickers would need to search them individually in order to produce a reasonable batch size to get enough pay for their job. Only a maximum quantity of 2kg tea can be yield from each of these tree. Therefore we reserve this rarity exclusively for our Newsletter Subscribers.
