This variation of roasted Tie Guan Yin is made according to the old tradition. In contrast to the Tie Guan Yin (Supreme or Premium), this is about medium to strong fermented and then slowly roasted dry on a special kind of wood. Through this process, the tea absorbs the aroma of the wood, which therefore giving it a sweet, fruity aromas of ripe berries. It tastes creamy and is wonderfully rounded by a caramel note.
