The definition for Gu Shu refers to tea trees that are at least 100 years old. This Shou/Shu Brick was produced in the 90's and the raw material came from the old tea trees in Jingmai. This batch was carefully stored in Guangdong by a private collector, which you can clearly taste and see in its liquor. Its liquor has a beautiful clear and amber colour, and offers an extremely comfortable sweetness. Through fermentation and storage, this also developed a riped hint of fruitiness. It is a very pleasant tea and certainly one of my favourites.
